Infants

Our Infant Room (2-3 years)

Our infants room is always bursting with fun and activity! In this room we see children beginning to be more independent and developing language more socially.

We ensure that we will follow the child's home routine and learning - such as potty training, feeding and sleeping to provide a continuity of care.

Emma, who has worked at Bridge End for 14 years leads the room, supported by Yvonne, Ella & Coreen. Emma has the experience and knowledge to ensure your child develops an understanding of themselves as individuals and form strong relationship's with their peers.

The environment is rich with real life resources and children are encouraged to be independent in their choices.

We plan and provide activities that support and develop the prime areas of learning;

  • personal social and emotional
  • physical development
  • communication and language

And introducing specific areas of development;

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding of the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

Activities are always based from the child's current interests.

Your child's development and learning journey is kept up to date through the Famly app, which you can read more about on the link below.
